Home training this week (17th) - hopefully!

Dear U8,
Further to discussions with Epsom and Sutton yesterday evening, it was decided to cancel the minis event with them this weekend due to their pitch condition.
The proposal for this Sunday is that (Subject to any further adverse weather conditions) we will train at home- Warlingham RFC. As normal please arrive by 09.45 to put on tag belts and vests. Also as my previous mail we will be introducing contact in small groups (with the U9’s) so please reminder mouth guards or arrive early to purchase from the club shop
Peter Jerrom- our minis chairman also posted on our facebook page a video link to tackling which our children may find interesting to watch before Sunday. The link is http://www.rugbyonslaught.com/2016/01/this-jamie-joseph-tackling-clinic-in.html?m=1
The met office forecast for this Sunday is for a temperature of -4 (-2 at 9am) http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gcpgyu2rq so please ensure that all players wear appropriately warm clothing including if you have them, thermal undergarments and rugby gloves especially as the small groups commencing contact may be standing to receive coaching skills rather than the normal running around.
Please also check our Facebook page for other information such as the ability to purchase tickets for 29th May 2016 – England vs Wales at Twickenham (family members only). I have also attached an application to the email. Forms must be returned by this weekend.
It may be of interest to you that at the club committee meeting held Monday this week, it was agreed (that as we have encountered when we play away) Warlingham will now provide food (hotdog/ hamburger etc.) to all minis visiting teams
Also Sarah who currently does a fantastic job of the catering is stepping down in August... we need some assistance either club wide or just for the Sundays. Let me know if any U8 parents are interested either voluntary or voluntary/paid or contact our minis chairman Peter - peter.jerrom.wrfc@gmail.com
Our first aid training commences this Sunday. If anyone would support our age group and the minis section by completing the training please let me know as we still have a couple of spaces available and the more trained parents we have the better for all our children.
I still need some support in organizing our 20th March Sports/ Comic relief day. If you can assist please email me.
Finally on sorting out the kit from Sunday 4th January I found two white Warlingham water bottles (one large and one small) in our cones bag. If these are yours please collect from me on Sunday.
Thank you, see you Sunday
John
