Well done to the Under 15’s with 1st place win at the Chipstead 7’s festival. The boys played some really great rugby and beat Guilfordians, Dorking & Chobham, they played out a draw with Old Elthamians 21-21 (the best game of the day), coming back from 21-7 at half time to dominate the second half, never allowing Old Elthamians into their half and being held up on the line on two occasions, in the final play forcing Old Elthamians to kick the ball out of play to end the game against a surging Warlingham.
The last game was against Chipstead who were down on players and they decided to give the game away 28-0 rather than face Warlingham, which reqd Old Elthamians to beat Dorking by 9 tries (the score difference total accumulated over 4 games), Dorking played a great game against Old Elthamians and held onto the game at 21-14 which meant Warly had the trophy in the bag.
No man of the match as they all deserved the honour and well done to team captain Cally, supported by Coaksey, Brume, Sam, Ethan, Philip, Fergus, Tom S, Ollie A, Reuben (welcome back) and of course Funmi, great result, well deserved, get in.
